Words and terms beginning with the letter L.

  • Lady (The): The goddess. It is also a ritual title for the coven's high priestess.
    Lamen: A metal disc inscribed with magical symbols worn by a witch around the neck during rituals.
    Lammas: One of the eight Sabbats in the Wiccan calendar.
    Left-hand Path: A term for people who use frivolous magic that only serves themselves.
    Ley Lines: Ley Lines are hypothetical alignments of a number of places of geographical interest, such as ancient monuments and megaliths. The ley lines and their intersection points resonate a special psychic or magical energy and have electrical or magnetic forces associated with them.
    Libation: Liquid spilled or poured out as offering during ritual, such as Libation to the Deities.
    Litha: One of the eight Sabbats in the Wiccan calendar. Commonly known as the summer solstice.
    Lord (The): The god. It is also a ritual title for the coven's high priest.
    Lucid Dream: A type of dream in which the dreamer is aware they are dreaming.
    Lunar: Of or relating to the Moon.
    Lupercus: One of the eight Sabbats in the Wiccan calendar. More commonly known as Imbolc.
