Futhark Runes - Casting

The Single Rune CastThe Single Rune: The single rune cast is drawn as a quick answer to a single (and simply stated) question in exactly the same way as a tarot reader would draw a single card. A single rune can also be drawn without a question being asked and used as a comment on the day ahead.

The Three Rune CastThe Three Rune Cast: The three rune cast is again very similar to a Tarot spread in so much that it can be used to answer a question (simple or complex). The runes should be drawn in the order indicated.

  1. The Past.
  2. The Present.
  3. The Future.

Odin's Cross CastOdin's Cross: Odin's Cross is similar in ways to the three rune cast in so much that it considers past, present and future. However, it also takes into account external influences and effects that may be affecting your current situation. Again, the runes should be drawn in the order shown.

  1. The Past.
  2. The Present.
  3. External Influences.
  4. External Effects.
  5. The Outcome/Future.

Thor's Hammer CastThor's Hammer©: Thor's Hammer is a cast specifically designed by Psychic Revelation's Talisman who spent two years living and working amongst the present day descendants of the Vikings many of whom still practiced the "Old Ways" and were happy to teach him all about them.

The cast is designed for when there is a choice to be made with two options. For example, this could be "Should I date man "A"? Or should I date man "B"? What happens if I don't date either? And so on. The runes should be drawn in the order shown.

  1. The Past - What's behind your current situation.
  2. The Present - How you feel about your current situation.
  3. External Influences.
  4. The Outcome - If choice "A" is made.
  5. The Outcome - If choice "B" is made.
  6. The Future - Should a choice not be made.
