Meanings: Whereas fehu referred to physical property and belongings, Othila is a more a case of spiritual wealth. Our journey is now over (until the runic cycle starts over!) and we have now defined who we are and what we are. Physical property is merely transient. The spiritual legacy we leave can last forever. All the lessons learned along the way must now be integrated into our lives, or become meaningless.
